Each year the Vintage Whites Market comes to Salt Lake City & it is such fun. {Click the blue bar below to read more}
There is a cover charge, but we went on Saturday morning so it was reduced (since the market begins on Friday night). It takes place in three buildings at the state fair grounds.
Most of the wares are vintage or antique, but there are some new things to buy as well, such a cute clothing & shoes.
And there are opportunities to meet interesting people. I love to chat with the business owners & shop keepers - like this little cutie above or this darling couple below. She designs all the beautiful word art & wrapping paper behind them.
I loved the quote, "Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway" - John Wayne
I bought some silks from the flower booth above.
My antique-lover friend, Karen, just built a new house. She doesn't have a mantle on her fireplace yet, so when we spied these two beautiful solid wood carved mantle pieces we knew they would be perfect for her. I can't wait to see them in her house!
There is music & treats. I've never seen cotton candy cut into shapes - like pineapple!
This stylish lady bought a horn & it looked like it would perfectly fit her aesthetic.
I love signs & I fell in love with this vintage "APPLES" sign with original paint. Here it is in my house . . . \
I hope you've enjoyed this little tour of our day at the market.
