Once in a while I like to attend a blogging conference. These events are filled with technical classes, great people & a lot of creative stimulation.
It was all a positive experience, but my favorite element was hearing from some really inspirational speakers. Lifestyle expert Matthew Mead has been a source of inspiration to me for years. I enjoyed his presentation so much & it was a thrill to meet him.
Courtney from Cents of Style delivered a beautiful message about how we can learn from our failures. And Heidi Swapp had an incredible way of sharing her remarkable story in a way that made us laugh, cry & just really want to give her a hug afterward.
I met the adorable Natalie Malan at a Halloween witches party & I have loved her ever since. She taught a watercolor class & I had so much fun I didn't want to stop painting!
I attempted painting flowers (and popcicles) for the first time . . .
