Kenzie is getting married, but she doesn't really like flowers {*GASP*} & the usual & wedding traditions aren't her style. Guess what she does love? Sports! So we absolutely had to bring some of those fun elements into her bridal shower to make an experience that was uniquely suited to her. {Click the blue bar below to read more}
Kenzie's favorite team is the Dallas cowboys. But one trick is to use something like that as an inspiration instead of being too literal & theme-y. So we used the blue & silver colors to surprise her. And while it doesn't say "Cowboys" anywhere - we did have this darling star cake. She loved it!
I sewed the blue & white striped table topper for the food table. And balloons were a way to add a party atmosphere without {my usual go-to} flowers. I like to use a bag of rice wrapped in tissue paper to hold the balloon bouquet down.
The football has Kenzie's wedding date on it & the guests used paint pens to sign it for her. It will be a fun keepsake of the day.
