It's our favorite time of the year! Thanksgiving has always been a special holiday here at the Lunt home, & we don't let Christmas crowd it out. Click the blue bar below to read more.
While decorating for Thanksgiving, I wanted to do something different. So this fall I decided to use neutrals. A great way to make neutrals work is to make sure there are lots of textures included. Birch, pine cones, wood, burlap - they all blend well together.
This scripture {Alma 34:38} is a perfect sentiment for Thanksgiving & I love to pull it out every year.
After I put this together I found this pretty lamp & added it.
Trays are a nice way to contain a grouping of accessories. New throw pillows are another way to fluff up your home for the holidays. I opted for some with ivory knit with faux fur trim - which will take us through Christmas & the winter months as well.
When we were visiting our family land this summer, I collected these aspen branches. I like them mixed with the cotton twigs. I'm super sentimental about cotton because my mother picked it when she was a child. It helped her family survive the great depression.
Later, I'll share our Thanksgiving table with you.
