In my last post, I shared some of the details of my friend Cathy's
For the food, we served a chicken veggie crock pot dish, several fruit & greens salads & rolls - all in those "Cafe Rio" aluminum bowls. My friend Becky made a peach cobbler & I'm sharing her delicious recipe with her permission. It's SO easy, but no one has to know! It's our little secret.
Becky's EASY Peach Cobbler
{Shared on honeyimhomeblog.com}
- 2 cans of 21 oz. peach pie filling {I like the kind with extra peaches}
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 stick {1/2 cup} butter
Grease a 9x13 pan and spread the 2 cans of pie filling in the bottom. Sprinkle dry yellow cake mix over the top. Cut stick of butter into "pats" & distribute evenly on top. Bake at 350° for about 50 minutes or until brown.
When Becky made it for the party, she doubled the recipe & cooked it in a large aluminum pan - then we just threw away the pan after. BRILLIANT! She also said you can use other flavors of pie filling.
