I admit it, I'm really picky about lemon bars.
I love lemon anything, but not all lemon bars are created equal! After years of searching, I finally found the perfect recipe.

A single recipe fills a 9x13 inch pan.
Crust:
- 1 cup softened butter
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Filling:
- 4 whole eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice {bottled is fine}
Combine filling ingredients with a mixer until sugar is dissolved.
When crust is baked, add filling mixture. {Crust does not have to cool first.} Return to 350 degree oven & bake 30 minutes longer.
- Pouring the filling mixture onto the baked crust -
I haven't made lemon bars for a long time~ I'll have to try this recipe!
