Jazzing Up Your Business Cards

The SNAP blogging conference is coming up & I've been getting ready. When attending an event like this, it's essential to have business cards.

AND it's a bonus if your business cards stand out in some way.

Some bloggers attach a little something to their cards. {In the past, I've taped an individually wrapped piece of chocolate to the back.}

This year, I'm attaching a little bottle of "pixie dust" to each card. This idea was given to me by my blog friend, Jules. Another blogger had purchased these bottles of glitter from the dollar store. Alas, none of my stores had them - but I was able to purchase tiny bottles of glitter inexpensively on ebay.

Some other things I've seen attached to cards:
  • vinyl sayings
  • sewing kit
  • bakers twine
  • charms
  • tiny gumballs
I'm sure in other areas of business, this custom would seem strange. But, luckily, bloggers are creative & love to think outside the box. At a conference, we collect over 100 cards - the point is to be memorable!
