Motherhood is NOT for wimps.
My kids are all "of age" now.
And while we are finished "raising them",
our jobs as their parents
{read the people who worry about them}
will continue on.
So, I thought you might like to see what
my boys do for fun.
And while they do take a lot of care for
safety precautions, it's downright crazy.

Oh my! I had to close my eyes for most of this. :)
ReplyDeleteTell me about it, Kari! I'm pretty sure my heart stopped for a few seconds the first time I saw this.

No one told me that motherhood would be so much nail biting. My middle girl would LOVE to do something like that. She doesn't get that from me; I blame her father. You have great, adventurous kids... I know you enjoy every second (when you aren't covering your eyes!) xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo true Jules. And I actually do have to cover my eyes quite a bit!

Yikes. I thought I worried when mine was little. Then when he started driving, I thought: OK now it's time to worry. Now he's off in college in another state and do I still worry? Yep. But we've got to have faith that we did our job and let them go. Easier said than done!
ReplyDeleteHi Carol, Your comment reminds me of the quotation: "A mother gives her child two things. First she gives them roots & then she gives them wings." I like the roots part better. Ha ha. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment & have a great week.

Yes, apparently boys WILL be boys. {Note that the girl in the video {Sarah} asked the boys to throw her over the railing because she couldn't bring herself to jump!} Thanks so much for your comment & for following! Welcome.

That is TOTALLY insane. I would never be able to do that. I can't ride much more then the music carosel at the parks. I wish I could, cause I think I must be missiing out on some fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteWow...they are brave! I must say though...I am pretty impressed on how he caught his hat!
ReplyDeleteMichelle...I was going to tell you (regarding your comment on my blog) that I have read These Is My Words and I LOVE IT.
