Have you ever wished you had an
architectural drawing
of your home, beach house, or cabin?
It's so easy to get one for yourself!
We recently had a wonderful
vacation & we wanted a nice way
to say thank you to our hosts.
We started by taking some pictures of the cabin
where we stayed. This was the best one . . .
Then I hopped on over to
If you don't know about Picnik, you are really missing out!
It's like "Photoshop for Dummies"
& I use it to make the most of my photos.
A lot of the effects/tools are free.
{Or a 6 month subscription is $19.95}.
I'm not being compensated to say this BTW.
ANYWHO . . .
I just downloaded the above color photo
onto the Picnik website,
then went to the "Create" folder.
It looks like this . . .
Click "Pencil Sketch" on the left
& "ta-da" you have a piece of artwork.
Save it to your computer &
order a print from the photo shop.
By the way,
the photo of the little girl was also
edited on Picnik.
This is what it looked like before . . .
It was cropped, lightened, softened, &
a white matt was placed around the edges.
What do you think?
