What I'm GOING to Wear Wednesday

I found the prettiest little

Ann Taylor sweater

at my thrift store (D.I.)

for $4!

I couldn't find anything wrong with it, 

except a TINY spot on the front. 

The sweater is a light blue-green color.

I really like a soft peachy-pink (almost nude)

color paired with it, 

so I decided to embellish the sweater

with some peachy feminine touches.

(This also covered up the little spot.)

 Here's the sweater & a scarf I got free with some perfume

way back in college!

 I cut a 2 inch strip off the end of the scarf & sewed 

a line on the largest stitch on my sewing machine.

The fabric is so thin that it gathered all by itself as I sewed.

I used the gathered strip to make a vertical ruffle along

the front of the sweater. (This was done on the 

sewing machine.)

Then I twirled some fabric around in circles--hand sewing

every so often to make the little flowers (which cover the stain).

I hand sewed the flowers on the sweater. 

I LOVE it with this awesome top I 

got from Forever 21.

Can't wait to wear it!
