I was recently given the task of redecorating
a restroom for a store.
My mission:
to give the room some
girly drama
& cozy it up.
Oh yeah, AND I had to do it
"on a dime".
I decided to stick with the pink & green color scheme
used elsewhere in the store.
First, I'd like to tell you about
this corner cabinet . . .
It only took four easy steps
to turn it from drab to fab!
to turn it from drab to fab!
1. First I removed the doors & lightly
sanded the whole cabinet with Hunny's power sander.
2. Then I primed with a spray primer.
3. The hot pink color is Rust-oleum "Very Berry".
(The secret to avoiding drips: LOTS of thin layers.
Keep moving the paint around & don't get too close to the furniture!)
4. When everything was nice & dry, I reattached the doors.
I really like the way it turned out.
Coming up soon, I'll show you the rest of the changes.
