My "Aha" Moment & a Challenge to My Blog Friends

-My granddaughter, Nellie, apparently having an "aha" moment too-

In my last post, I spotlighted the darling
"Jules" at bles-id.
Shortly after, her blog reached
the 100 followers mark.

The way she celebrated
taught me something
& warmed my heart.

Jules donated $100
to an organization that
helps unwed mothers.

Wow.
Just think the good we
could do if we all
followed her wonderful
example!

My blog is nearing 200 followers.
To celebrate, when I reach this mark,
I've decided to donate
$1 for each of you
wonderful followers
to my local soup kitchen
(which feeds needy people each day).

AND NOW FOR THE
CHALLENGE!!
If you have a blog,
why not help us change the world
by giving
a penny, a dime, or a dollar
or a minute of your time
for each follower to your favorite charity
when you reach your next follower goal??

THEN, LET ME KNOW ABOUT IT!
When I make my donation,
I'll start a linky party & leave it open
so you can inspire others.

Thank you, Jules, for your big beautiful heart.
I hope we've started something wonderful!

  1. That is AWESOME! Love the idea that the donation doesn't have to be cash, time is just as {or even MORE} important! You are SO CLOSE to 200 followers! I'm gonna do all I can to help you reach that goal. Thank you for your servant's heart. So thankful we are friends. Jules

  4. what a great idea. Nothing will move the world if we don't each of us take some steps of our own.
