We've given this
Mulled Cider
to our neighbors more than once
& it's always a big hit!
{It seems like a nice change from cookies & candy.}
To make: fill a small cellophane bag with:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 tsp. whole cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
stick of cinnamon
Then attach the bag of ingredients to a
2 quart bottle of apple juice.
We also attach a note with instructions.

printed on cardstock or printed as a 4x6 photo. Enjoy!}

ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift...I love a practical gift spruced up with some sweet homemade touches that a whole family can share...For our neighbors, I'm putting packages of hot chocolate mix with candy canes for stirring in cello bags tied up with twine and a little polka-dotted bell dangling down...But, now that I've seen your cider idea I like what you are doing better! Hope you don't mind if I file the idea away to use for next year?

I too can't get the link to work for the free printable for the tag. It is such a darling idea and I've assembled all of the ingredients and am ready to attach with the tag to start some deliveries...help with the tag!!!! HELP! Thanks, Rachel
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment, Rachel. I'll be the first to admit that I don't REALLY know what I'm doing! Try this: hover over the image & right-click on it. Then click on "Save image as" or "Save picture as" in the pop-up menu. Choose where you want to save the image {such as desktop}. At that point I would send the image to Walgreens to print as a photo. I hope this helps!
