Spooktacular Halloween Porch Decor

I love changing the
Halloween Vignette
on my porch each year.

This year, I decided to rework my
book club wreath to go with a Halloween theme.

I typed & printed my own banner on my computer, edged it in glue,
stuck gold glitter to the edges, & adhered it to my book page wreath.

The witch was cut out from a vintage Halloween
postcard. I love this little saying,
"Wishing you a Jolly Halloween"
which I've seen on vintage Halloween stuff.

By the way, the arachnids "crawling" up the door
are made from plastic spider rings . . .
Just cut the ring part off & stick to your door with
glue dots!

Don't you just love these spooky, but classy pumpkins?

I saw something similar to the rhinestone pumpkin
on line for $200! These "Say it with Pearls" by Prima
were on sale 40% off. (I used 3 packages.)
The pearls are already arranged  in this cute swirly pattern
& they have a gummy stuff on the back which sticks to the pumpkin.
I think I spent about $7 total.

The lace pumpkin idea is from Better Homes & Gardens.

Their instructions were to "insert the stem through an opening
in the top of the lace & gather lace at the bottom of the pumpkin.
Secure the lace with a running stitch underneath."
This method did not work for me! The lace was so gathered
that you couldn't see the pumpkin.

I did cut a hole in the top of the lace for the pumpkin,
then cut out lots of excess lace & Mod Podged the lace to
the pumpkin. I put straight pins in the bottom of the
pumpkin to hold the lace in place.

Jolly Halloween . . . decorating!
