A Life Well Lived

Our dearest Mom passed away August 22nd

(Thank you, blog friends, for your sweet
thoughts & prayers in her behalf.)

She lived her life with
strength, love, & humor.

The following poem
expresses how I feel about her.
(I'm sorry, I don't have the author's name--please let me know if you have that info!)

- Georgia Frost Lunt -
Our Mother always had a way
Of changing the color of a day
From gray to a hue we preferred
Sometimes without a sign or word
She stirred up blue & gold weather
And all the rainbow tints together
But whether the times were dark or fair
The beauty was she was with us to share.

  1. I am so very sorry for your loss. It is within times such as this that people truly need to know someone is listening. Your Dearest Mom was someone I would have admired and been blessed to have known. The poem was perfect. May God Keep His Angels Near to Comfort and Love Your Family Through The Coming Days.

    Hugs of Love,
    Terri

  8. What a beautiful woman. I'm sorry for your loss. Your poem expresses so much love, and she must has been amazing. I appreciate the information on inflammatory breast cancer. I had forgotten about watching for those "other" symptoms.
